Astrana Health is a Management Services Organization (MSO) comprised of healthcare professionals and more than 600 employee associates serving the rapid growth of Independent Physicians Associations (IPAs) and Medical Groups. We provide comprehensive administrative support and various auxiliary services in our efforts to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. Astrana Health is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Astrana Health, our parent company.
Our Origins
In 1994, a team of physicians formally established Astrana Health. Since then, we have helped numerous IPAs and medical groups achieve their financial goals and organizational success. In 2016, we achieved our objective of transforming from an IPA model to an Integrated Population Health Model by facilitating best practices and turning them into a comprehensive healthcare organization that is truly accessible to all.
Astrana Health Now
Today, we have expanded our services to ten counties in California, providing management to over 1 million members and a network of over 7,000 contracted physicians, making it one of the largest in California and the U.S. Through our broad ecosystem, we have become a leader in population healthcare management, providing quality of care and helping to alleviate costs in an extremely expensive U.S. healthcare system through integration, innovation, and cutting-edge technology.
